How to get here by train:
You can reach us comfortably by rail. There are regional connections along the Munich – Eschenlohe – Oberau – Farchant – Garmisch-Partenkirchen – Innsbruck line every hour. Every weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), Intercity Express (ICE) passenger trains take you directly to Oberau or Garmisch-Partenkirchen from many German cities without changing trains. From there, you can conveniently take a regional train or local bus to Farchant or Eschenlohe.
How to get here by bus:
The ZugspitzLand can also be reached easily by the comfortable coaches of flixbus.de In Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the bus stop is at the station square. The Munich ZOB station is a tranfer station for numerous other coach lines from all over Germany.
How to get here by car:
From Munich –A 95 Freeway heading towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Take the exit at Eschenlohe. Or stay on the freeway until it ends, then continue on to the B2 Federal Highway that passes Oberau directly. From here, continue on the B2 and take the Farchant exit before the tunnel, 3 km before Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
From Augsburg – Take the B 17 Federal Highway via Schongau and Oberammergau towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen and go over the Ettaler Berg directly to Oberau. To continue to Farchant, take the B2 Federal Highway from Oberau towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen, then take the Farchant exit before the tunnel, 3 km before Garmisch-Partenkirchen. To go to Eschenlohe, take the B2 Federal Highway towards Munich from Oberau, then take the right fork before the ramp to the A95 Freeway.
From Stuttgart / Ulm – Take the A7 Freeway towards Kempten / Füssen / Reutte, from the end of the freeway continue to Ehrwald in Tyrol, then to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, afterwards head towards Munich. The first turn-off after Garmisch-Partenkirchen will take you to Farchant. For Oberau, take the B2 Federal Highway through the tunnel and then to Oberau. To drive to Eschenlohe, continue on the B2 and take the right fork to Eschenlohe before the ramp to the freeway.
How to get here by plane:
In case you prefer going by plane, you can choose among four airports: Munich, Stuttgart, Memmingen, Innsbruck. Franz-Josef Strauss Airport Munich is only 120 km away (travel time: approx. 90 minutes), Innsbruck Airport only 60 km (travel time: approx. 60 minutes). If requested, local agencys (car rentals, bus operators, travel agencies) organize airport pick-up.
