Cross-country skiing trail

Enter our highly varied but technically easy cross-country skiing trails in the Loisach valley and enjoy the splendid view of the snow-covered peaks of the mountain ranges of the Estergebirge, the Ammergebirge and the Wettersteingebirge including Mount Zugspitze. The 30-km round trip takes you far away from noisy traffic to Oberau and Farchant and back again to Eschenlohe. Skiing through this tranquil and picturesque landscape will at times make you feel like being in Canada or Scandinavia.

As a matter of course, it is not necessary to master the complete round trip; it is also possible to go on a short cross-country run or to combine several short runs at pleasure, as can be derived from the map of the skiing trails available.

Ski lift

The ideal place for learning and practicing for young and old is the skiing slope with ski lift (260 m) in Eschenlohe – For further information, please phone +49-172-8923557.

Opening hours:
Monday - Friday: 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Saturday, Sunday, public holidays and school holidays: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

But even for those who do not want to go skiing, there is plenty to do: tobogganing, ice-skating and wonderful winter hikes through a fairy-tale landscape.
