There are perfect conditions for tobogganing and sledding with family and friends.
Our recommendation for families: the sled runs next to the ski lifts in Farchant, Oberau and Eschenlohe.
For daredevils we have a special secret tip, the run from the Saint Martin Hütte at the Grasberg. The distance is 1.6 kilometers. But first there is a quite steep ascent on foot to be mastered. Then you will be rewarded by a top speedy race downhill.
Another coast is from the Partnachalm inn at the Partnach gorge, where the traditional Bavarian hornsled races take place every year on Epiphany (6 January). Remember thatyou should be well-equipped, especially for the more demanding coasts. So don’t forget sturdy footwear with a skidproof profile for easy braking of the sled along with good gloves, a helmet and ski goggles for protection.
