Traditional festivities in the forest

In the summer months, the local folklore societies organize traditional festivities in the forest with folk music, dancing and traditional garb in Farchant, Oberau and Eschenlohe at Saturdays, if the weather is fine.

The cheerful get-togethers take place at idyllic places in the forests. You can enjoy Bavarian beer and other drinks with or without alcohol, Bavarian snacks or grilled specialities. Folk music and folk dances, such as the “Schuhplattler”, provide entertainment for visitors and locals alike.
