Mount Zugspitze, rising to 2,962 meters (9,717 ft.) above sea level, offers an unmatched 360° panoramic view of 400 peaks in four countries.

But there is more to it than mere facts, which make it a must-see for visitors to the ZugspitzLand. Even in summer, the glacier invites you to go sledding. Moreover, it is possible to do a glacier hiking tour. Even culinary highlights can be enjoyed at the highest elevation of Germany: at the restaurants Gipfelalm, Panorama 2962, Sonnalpin and Gletschergarten.

You can reach the summit either by the cogwheel train and the glacier cable car or the new record-breaking cable car. A round trip ticket is available for a combination of all these mountain lifts, so that utmost variety on the Zugspitze is guaranteed!
