Höllental Gorge

The roaring rapids pour through the Höllental gorge at the foot of Mount Zugspitze: a unique natural wonder that is easily reached from Hammersbach or Grainau in an hour.
The Höllental gorge is also the starting point for numerous hiking tours.
The gorge and the Höllental museum are closed in winter. In sommer open from about mid-May to mid-October. More information can be found on the website of the German Alpine Club
